Hemroid treatment – Solutions You Can Use Now

Things you can do right NOW

(Without going to the doctors.)

These are the best tips on what you can do right now to get some relief:

1) Drink at least 2 large glasses of water per day.  Especially if you are constipated or strain at all going to the toilet.  (I fill a large bottle of water and keep it on my desk, and this makes it easier to make sure I drink enough)

2) When you wipe do so with a cotton pad soaked in witch hazel.  Or use wet wipes first, then dab with witch hazel afterwards.

3) If you work at a desk or sit a lot.  You need to ensure that you get up every 20 mins, and walk around.  You must get this pressure off your bottom.

4) Cut down on steaks or heavy meats  (This one is difficult for me).  Eat more vegetables and fibre.  Again this softens things, so that going to the toilet is easier.

5) If everything is still hard down there.  You can get a laxative, which will help.  BUT don’t overdo it, as you don’t want to be going to the toilet more than twice per day, as each time you wipe it will irritate.

If they start getting really bad then a hydrocortisone version might be prescribed by the doctor.  This will reduce the inflamation, but with the disadvantage that you are absorbing hydrocortisone into your body.  This is quite a strong steroid and in your body in really high doses can cause a huge range of side effects (from acne to glaucoma).

When they start to get very bulbous and walking and sitting becomes really uncomfortable, then the doctor will recommend surgery or banding.

Many are turning to more alternative, natural and organic methods for their hemroid treatment.  And I’m pleased to hear that they appear to have great success.

In fact to guarantee success you might want to combine both methods to clear them all up in one go, but it does depend on how you are suffering.
